Friendships that last a lifetime.

Community-focused nursery school programs for children aged
two years and nine months to five years old.

Our Classes

We offer our traditional nursery school programs in three different classes. Each has been created to facilitate growth and development with a focus on play.

Our Teachers

Our amazing teachers all hold Masters Degrees in Early Childhood Education. Find out more about all the people who play such an important part in our children's lives.

For Parents

We strive to maintain an open and collaborative relationship with our parents. It’s our priority to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where your children can thrive.

Foundations for future success.

Our traditional nursery school program has been an integral part of the Farmington community since 1957. We provide quality educational care to three-year-old, four-year-old, and pre-kindergarten-aged children and pride ourselves on our ability to foster meaningful relationships with and between our students.

Learning through play.

We follow the philosophy that children learn through play.  The environment is warm and nurturing to encourage children to develop at their own pace. The curriculum is designed to include all areas of development and is driven by the student’s interests.  As the demands of kindergarten increase, our 4s and Pre-k program also carefully move children towards readiness in the areas of literacy, math and science.

We’ve had two children go through the Village Nursery school program and we have absolutely loved the balance of curriculum with play and fun! We felt that our son was very well prepared for kindergarten and both of our children formed fantastic relationships with their teachers and classmates. One of our favorite aspects of the school is the neighborhood itself. It’s located next to the local library and the town green so there is plenty of room to explore and play. Highly recommend!
