Welcome to the Cardinals

Ages 2 – 3

Our three-year-old class is often a child’s first experience in a school-like setting. Our curriculum is designed to build social skills and emotional confidence, helping children make friends, explore new ideas, and feel at home in a space of their own. Simply put, we want them to love school!

Foster their independence

Our program encourages independent thinking and learning. Children work on personal independence skills such as unpacking their backpacks, washing their hands, caring for their coats, and choosing a morning activity. These activities—whether done with a teacher, friend, or independently—introduce cognitive skills like color recognition, sequencing, sorting, turn-taking, and letter recognition. Morning work also focuses on fine motor skills to strengthen hand muscles.

The power of play

Throughout the morning, children practice additional important skills like making choices, following directions, staying safe, listening in group settings, cleaning up, and being kind. Most importantly, we believe in the power of play. Through both teacher-guided and child-led play experiences, we foster a love of learning in a fun, engaging way.
